Necessary to change every 1-1.5 years. This is the optimal solution to maintain a stable humidity close to 70%

The pictures do not do this humidor justice. It is a beautiful, well constructed box that is everything it claims to be. The humidor guide and bottle of distilled water are a nice touch as well.

My biggest dilemma was if I should buy a smaller humidor or this larger version. Generally I buy my cigars in 12s or 24s, I decided that what holds a lot, holds a little and in the end I decided that the extra space would only help to mature my beloved cigars better. To this end I also ordered the exta tray. There is a comprehensive information book that details how to set-up the humidor which I found invaluable. This is my first humidor and I believe the humidity was higher than recommended initially but I can confirm that after just three weeks I can taste an improvement in burn rate and a fuller, milder flavour is what this humidor has delivered.
Every gentleman should have one.
The box is incredibly well made, looks great.

Overall very good. However, the magnet on the hygrometer came off after I first closed the humidor. Slightly annoying to have to go and buy glue to fix this.
