In 2019, adorini produced yet another absolute masterpiece of craftsmanship in time for the world's largest tobacco fair. For the Humidor Tresor Cassaforte, adorini has taken an antique safe and lovingly converted it into a humidor to create a one-of-a-kind piece, unique in the world.
Every part of the safe has been painstakingly restored and tailored to its new function. Small metal parts were galvanized, the interior was lined with cedar wood and matching drawers and trays were handcrafted. The humidor is divided into two sections. The upper half which is made of solid steel, is used for storing cigars. The new, hand-painted finish was applied with the utmost attention to detail and gives the heavy iron a fresh, noble wood look. Yet opening that massive door always brings to mind the original function of the safe. The lower half is all wood and was given the same scrupulous treatment as the part above, painted by hand to blend the two parts seamlessly. Other luxury goods, such as wine or spirits, can also be stored perfectly here.
